The Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site is possibly the second largest attraction on the Breton Cape area of Nova Scotia (known as Cape Breton) and a fascinating archeology reconstruction and anthropology.
This location is complete with costumed interpreters and guides, a functioning tavern, bakery, restaurant and many reenactments and events throughout the summer. Well done!
We gave a sticker to an unknown van that we parked near.
For dinner we attended a “Beggars Banquet” which included yummy regional food (crab, lobster, haddock) as well as music and full costumes!
And for some reason, Geneva really liked these bilingual signs at the museum and thought the cherubs would be awesome tattoos! .
