Iguazu Falls- one of the wonders of the world!

We arrived to the city of Foz do Iguacu, Brazil in the middle of a heat wave. I think I mentioned the heat and humidity that we were experiencing in the last post. But it was stifling in this town! We looked at several campsites around town, and settled on a grassy, treed camping area with a great hippie vibe, and a swimming pool!! The dogs were welcome to be off-leash and we had unlimited water to cool off with.

We left the dogs for the day and took an Uber to Iguazu Falls. The lines were long and the walkways were crowded. We were shoulder to shoulder with loads of people. But wow, this place was breathtaking!

Speaking of shoulders- while we were watching the water flow over the rocks, a beautiful butterfly landed on Geneva’s shoulder.  This pretty little thing rode there on her shoulder for nearly 15 minutes as we walked around the national park.

While this photo series of Mike reminds us that it was hot and crowded in the jungle that day, we still really enjoyed our visit to Iguazu Falls, Brazil.
