Our earthquake update:

We are fine. We are safe. We are behind on our blog posts!

The shaking lasted long enough that we had time to look at each other (nope, not wiggling) and Zeb (snoring). Then we felt a little panic that perhaps someone was outside trying to pull our bikes off the truck. When we could find no explanation, we blamed a rogue wind gust and returned to reading. Fifteen minutes later we heard the news.

We are at the blue dot. The epicenter was the red dot. It is about 400 miles away.  We are fine. We are safe. But now you know, we are behind on our blog posts! Keep watching for updates as we tell you about our time in Chiapas state and head into the Yucatán peninsula.

  2. Whew! You all are never short on adventure. So glad you are OK, but Planet Earth seems to be fed up.
